LAYER ONE : THE OUTSIDE

- Hair Style/Color: long, straight, currently fades from dark brown to dark green/blue

- Clothing style: lots of black. jeans/sweatshirts/boots, usually.

LAYER TWO: THE INSIDE
- Your fears: failure, mostly. and long, drawn-out pain. i’m also afraid of not being as independent as possible. insects are kind of gross, but as long as they aren’t touching my i don’t really care. i don’t like jumping down from high places.
- Your guilty pleasure: America’s Next Top Model (on occasion). i’d say fanfiction, but i don’t feel guilty about it.
- Ambitions for the future: umm…have a job that i don’t hate and that allows me to travel. learn lots of languages. learn to draw. learn to play the guitar. write stories? idek.

Probably the only thing I’ve ever “come out” to my mom as is…a shoe lover. (Not in a fetish-y way, just an aesthetic appreciation way.) I guess eventually she noticed that whenever we went shopping I’d get bored and gravitate to the shoe section and start trying on all sorts of impossibly impractical high heels? Anyways, one day she actually asked me about it:

Her: So, why do you always pick out those impractical shoes?
Me: Umm…
Her: …
Me: Okay, okay. So I really like shoes. They’re just so great; I can’t help it!
Her: You know what?
Me: What?
Her: I really like shoes too!
Me: NO WAY! How come you never told me?
My aunt: *comes in* What didn’t she tell you?
Me: We both love shoes!
My aunt: Hey, I love shoes too!
Me: What how did I not know this?
My aunt: And you know Gran loves shoes too, right?
Me: Wow is it genetic?

Anyways, once we stopped hiding our love of shoes we actually started buying them; thus when I packed for college I had one whole moving box full of shoes. (Boots and heels take up a lot of space, okay?)

(This is relevant because today Gran mentioned that my aunt loved her shoes so much she slept with them under her pillow. I was never THAT excited about mine. :D )
